DSMB is pleased with recruitment progress
The D2d Data and Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB) meets twice a year to review the study’s progress. At this meeting, the DSMB is impressed with the improvement in recruitment and is pleased with enrollment metrics. The secret to the turnaround? The members of the research team willingness to share and learn from each other and embracing the next frontier in recruitment, use of electronic health records (EHR). The D2d presents its experience with EHR-based recruitment at the American Diabetes Association Scientific Sessions in June of 2016.
