D2d sites across the nation are now prescreening for people with prediabetes to join the D2d study.  To see if a site near you is now prescreening visit the Sites page. 

 
D2d is first NIDDK   D2d – 1st NIDDK supported trial to use IRBShare

D2d becomes the first NIDDK-supported trial and only the fifth NIH-supported study to join the pilot phase of IRBShare.  IRBShare provides a multi-site IRB review model that utilizes shared review documents and a shared review process.

The study’s first annual Investigators’ Meeting was held in Bethesda, MD.  Over the course of two days, investigators and coordinators from all 20 D2d sites worked together to plan a successful launch for D2d.
