Sun KimSite Principal Investigator – Sun H. Kim, MD, MS | Dr. Kim is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Gerontology, and Metabolism at Stanford University. She received her B.A. from Stanford and her M.D. from University of California, San Diego. She completed her internal medicine residency at University of Texas at Southwestern and her postdoctoral training in endocrinology at Stanford. She is board-certified in endocrinology and holds a Master’s degree in Epidemiology.  She conducts patient-oriented research in the epidemiology, mechanisms, and treatment of diabetes and obesity.

 

 Josephine HauSite Research Coordinator – Josephine Hau, RD | Josephine earned her B.S. in Nutritional Science in Dietetics from University of California, Berkeley. She is a registered dietitian who started her career as a clinical nutrition research assistant at Stanford Prevention Research Center and is currently studying the relationship between genotype, insulin resistance and weight loss. Josephine is passionate about nutrition and has had previous nutrition research experience at Health Research for Action, Asian Health Services and the Mayo Clinic. Outside of the health industry, she has worked for Cafepress Inc. in user experience design and also with AccessSoftek on developing the Team BeachBody P90X iPhone application. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Health.
